This 'Rootwood Mule' (our twist on an Apple Cider Moscow Mule) fits the bill, skirting the line between summer and fall nicely. Here's our own Rootwood Mule Recipe:⁠ ⁠ 2 oz. Rootwood Harrison Cider⁠ 6 oz. ginger beer⁠ 1/2 oz. cinnamon whiskey⁠ 1 oz. dark rum⁠ ⁠ Combine ingredients in a glass over ice, garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick⁠ for extra fall pizzazz.⁠ ⁠ #drinkapples #cidercocktail #nwcider #rootwoodcider #falldrinks #autumninspo #fallcocktail #craftcider #waciderweek

Clemente keeps a mental rolodex of details about the orchards including number of bins picked per block each year, duration of harvest, dates of major storm events (hail, frost, etc), and many other considerations that keep the orchards in shape. He's definitely part of the process of getting cider in the glass. If you see him at the taproom and want to buy him a cold one, his favorite cider is Golden Tri (recently sold out), so he's settling for Lake Effect these days.
